Scamper

(page 104)
He grabbed me by the arm and his voice gerw wild. "Don't give me your simpering, mealymouthed answers. We've repaid our debts a dozen times over."
"You're hurting me," I said. All the time, in my mind, I was telling myself that I must not be frightened. I must not be frightened.
Black Dog said that I didn't know what pain is."Wait till you have been here for thirty years. Then you'll welcome the pain. They were once as pleasant to me as they are to you." He twisted my arm. I let out a yell. I kicked him hard in the knee and he let go of me with a grunt. I brgan to run up the hill. My hat flew off. I kept on running. I heard his boots come farther as he followed me. I ran hardly, as fast as I could, I could feel that wind blew over my face, the trees were blowing in the wind, the air was chaos by the dust. I look back on Black Dog and I almost couldn't see that where Black Dog was because I ran ahead for about three miles. "Pain? I don't know what is pain because no one can hurt me! My magical feet can run apace because they
had conjuration by the dragon king who has magic and I can run as fast as a horse!" I said proudly.

When I came to, I was back in the Company. Father was asking the details of the strife with Black Dog and sterilizing my arm that scratched by Black Dog.
Lefty asked me that what beast did Black Dog do to me.
I found that Black Dog was not even mad at me. How couldn't Black Dog be mad at you?
I did not know what to do or say; The Company looked so stern and solemn.

Small class teaching

I think the small class teaching in Hong Kong is not promote successfully. There are some benefits for the schools, if the schools promote this project ssuccessfully, then there will have more students come to the schools, but the schools need more places for student study. For students, they can learn easily and more visible to teachers, but students will meet less friends in the class. For teachers, they can work lightly, because there will have less homeworks to check, but the news teachers may have more training for the teachers. For the education, there will has lots of improvements and the qualities of the students will be better too!

History Homework

The qualities are full of imagination, determine what society needs, breaks from the old ways and creative.
I think Methodist College promoted imagination, creative and determine what society needs because in art lesson my teacher encourage us to be creative and imagine lots of art works.
In Liberal Studies lessons, we always have quizes about news and that can push us to be more determine what society needs.
Methodist College do not promote me to breaks from the old ways but my rock climbing instructor teach me to breaks from the old ways because when I having the rock climbing, my instructor always correct my wrong posture and I should break my wrong posture and that made me swift to take steps!

Five quanlities

I think the five quanlities that a good inventor should have are working because that can make the inventor keep trying.
Then good inventor should be intelligent because inventor should think lots of ideas about the inventions.
Good inventor should be brave because when making some inventions there will have some dangerous and thhe inventor shoulld be brave.
Next good inventors should be patient because making inventions will defeat a lot and if the inventor hasn't any patient and he will not try it again and again.
Finally, good inventor should observe things carefully because before making invention there should have lots of observation and if them observe carelessly they should not have any good inventions.

History

I think Hong Kong need French revolution, because in Hong Kong, some people are discontent with the government because the government doesn't listen to the people or just pretended to listen, for example the government want to took apart the Star Ferry and te people were opposed but the government still took apart the Star Ferry.

Hong Kong need French revolution although Hong Kong government doesn't rule badly corrupt and doesn't have any financial crisis but I think the French revolution can help the problem and historical relics can be protect better.

Number the Stars

In this book, Uncle Henrik explains to Annemarie that it is easier to be brave when you don't know the full truth, I think he was wrong because a person who is timid and he don't know the full true and he won't be brave.

Country always occupy the other country after the war, I think that is futility because in a war, there will have lots of people died and hurt, the power of the country that win will be weaken, although the country can has more land. I think the life of the soldiers are more important than the land that occupy from the other country!

Experience of limping

On day before went to Ocean Park, my foot was hurt by the stair, and Winky propped me to the infirmary in the school, then Mister Siu used an ice to lay on my left foot, at that time mt left foot was as swell as an egg! After a few minutes an ambulance sent me to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, after had the x-radiation, the doctor said that my ligament was broken and I had to take a rest for about few weeks, at that time I think I can go to Ocean Park after rested a night and so I wake up as usual, but when I stand, my foot was very pain and I stand hardly, I set down in great disappointment because I look forward to this day very much!
On these day my foot is still swell and I just can jump with the other foot to move and my mum took me to see a Chinese doctor, the doctor said that my foot was quite serious and he kneaded my foot and made me ache but after that I felt that my foot is more comfortable than before but there were still pain.
I think it is an unforgettable experience although it was not a good experience, but in this experience I had a look with inside the ambulance that I had never experience of that and I had sit my first wheelchair and I can know the feeling of the people that cannot walk, it is quite helpless and after this experience I know more about the people who cannot walk and the pain of limp!

Beggar interview

On 23rd of February, my group went to Yau Ma Tei and had an interview with the beggar.
Firstly I scared with the beggar, but after I had interview with her, I think I was wrong, I discovered that she is nice. The beggar is about
seventy years old, she has a son who is about fourty years old, she had a dalmatian in the past but it died, then her friend gave her a new dog, her dog is ferocious because when I wanted to film it, it barked at me.Her dog had a monkey doll in its back.
She lived under the bridge, but actually she had a house but it is far away from the bridge, she think lived under the bridge is convenient.Under the bridge, there were some boxes, they were used for selling and keeping things.
She said that she often had a headache and his son's right hand was hurt, but they didn't see a doctor because she think that there was crowded, and it is dangerous.
She think her life was
better than the other beggars because the volunteers and government will sent her money and food.
She think
most of the Hong Kong people are kind but her neighbor near her home were bad because they had a prejudice to her.
I think she is really kind because during the filming, our progress was slow and we had to stop and took the video again and she had no complain.Firstly we decided to gave her
some money, but we think it is mannerless to gave her money, so we bought some cakes and water to her.
on 23rd of February, we went to Yau Ma Tei and take different beggars,I think it was quite dangerous because we need to run after the beggars across the street and traffic lights, we also can't let them knew that we were filming them and we only could filming the back of them.
I think having interview with beggar is a meaningful experience, because I can know more the beggars and change the attitude and impression about the beggars.
I think there are
some thing that we should learn from the beggars, we should learn although they had difficulty about their finance, but they still work hard and never give up, in our study we also have lots of difficulties, but we should striving toward.
I learnt
lots of things after interview with her, I learnt that the government had help them a lot, some of them were really need the help, but some of them were not because when we were finding the beggars, I discovered that some of the beggars were pretend a beggar. One of the beggar even smoking and wearing a gold watch!I learnt some people were prejudice beggars, I think they were no sympathy.
In the next time, I think my group can interview
more beggars and we can have more imformation and more notion about the beggars.

A person in the Renaissance

My name is Da Vinci, my birthdate is on 15th of April, 1452 and my deathdate is on 2nd of May, 1519. I am 67 years old. I born in present-day Italy.

I am a polymath because I am a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer. As I am a painter, my job is to make good paintings and bring hope to people.

I have a greatest pieces of art --Mona Lisa, I spent about six years to finish this painting.I think the smile of "Mona Lisa" is mysterious!

Being a painter, I feel meaningful because I think I can bring hope to the people, it is meaningful! I also think that arts are important because arts can make the mood of the society become better and lively.

Renaissance

I think Michaelangelo and Leonardo daVinc are used as examples of Renaissance men because their arts have more color and they can made people happy and hoped against hope with their life.

Renaissance men are different from the typical characters in the Middle Ages because the art of the renaissance men are more colourful and the theme is hopeful, but the color of the typical characters in the Middle Ages are dark.

Moon Shadow

I think abandon everything familiar for the completely unknown is fearful, because if I need to put down my mum and my grandma and go to an awful place to live with a father that I have never seen him and in my memory just know a few things about him and go to that place will have lots of problems, I think Moon Shadow is brave. When I was primary six, all subjects are teaching in Chinese and I think my life with ease but then I need to choosed my secondary school, my mum and dad wanted me to choose a English School, but I just want to choose a Chinese School because I like using Chinese to learning more than using english but I just can't defiance my mum and dad, in this school I had to abandon everything, including singing my school song in English, talking with teachers in english, I felt weary at the beginning but now I have already accustome to this school life, and I don't know in the future will I need to abandon this life.

History

I think our power structure is different from Medieval society because the people in the past are all controlled by the king and the king is the one person that can only controlled the people, the people also cannot opposed the king or they will be killed by the king. In Hong Kong, the person at the top is Donald Tsang, but he is not the only one that can control the people and the people also can oppose him .Hong Kong power structure is more equally than the Medieval society.Hong Kong power structure is fair than the Medieval society because people can express their thinking or opinion to the people at the top and they will not be killed by the people at the top.
